If you would text my sentiment about the year changing, I guess it would be “OMG”.
For me it is a little bit strange seeing how fast the years do come and go.
Yet the WAA is moving forward into 2019 with fresh outlooks to keep the WAA vibrant.
We have added another business member to the Board, Brian Zimmerman. Brian is the owner of several Insurance Agencies, a member of the Free Masons, and good financial supporter of sports clubs, education institutions, and our Thursday night model/life class. (Welcome Brian!). We have also changed our Saturday presentations with various artists, focusing on Hands-On workshops.
Each WAA scheduled art show will have its own chairperson. In this way, we are attempting to spread the workload a little further. We have improved the Wednesday a workshop including painting through value studies, painting with different mediums, landscapes and still life.
I am announcing in this issue a new Instructional Class to begin the second week of February (February 12) Tuesday, at 10 am. This class will continue, every Tuesday, throughout the year until July We have expanded our Outreach Programs. We are now at Holiday Village, Wiley Community Center, and at The Methodist Church in Mount Holly.
Wishing everyone a happy and joyous New Year
Looking forward to a Great New Year.
