Join us for an engaging, in-person workshop with artist David Watson, hosted by the Willingboro Art Alliance (WAA). This workshop is free for both WAA members and non-members.

What to Expect:
Supplies, including paper, charcoal, pencils, and colored pencils, will be provided. However, participants are encouraged to bring images or subject matter of their choice.

David will guide attendees through his process of creating new artwork, sharing tips on composition, simple perspective techniques, and thumbnail sketches. Participants will learn how David develops his imaginative creations, often inspired by historical and natural settings.

About the Instructor:
David Watson, inspired by illustrators like Howard Pyle and Frank Schoonover, grew up in New Jersey, using his imagination to bring characters to life. He enjoys painting historical moments and scenes in a way that allows viewers to interpret the story behind the artwork.

We’re thrilled to announce our first Life Drawing Open Studio session of the year happening this Saturday, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just looking to hone your skills, this is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a creative and supportive environment. 1st and 3rd Saturday’s Monthly, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, at the JFK Center, Room 300, 429 John F. Kennedy Way, Willingboro, NJ. Cost, Members: $10 and Non-Members: $15, unclothed models. Grab your favorite drawing or painting supplies, and we’ll provide the easels and tables. Just bring your passion for art. We can’t wait to see you this Saturday!
