Regina Ottman is a classically trained musician and artist who discovered she has the gift of synesthesia where she “hears” the notes of the musical scale as colors. Her artworks are created “in collaboration” with specific pieces of music using oil pastel, ink, and collage on a variety of media. She will describe her process and show artworks while playing a bit of the music she “saw” during the creation of each piece. During the workshop, she will have participants listen to short pieces of music and respond by making their own work of art.

Regina Ottman’s work has appeared in many shows including at Cerulean Arts Gallery, The Philadelphia Sketch Club and The Plastic Club. Her paintings, drawings, prints and encaustics hang in private collections throughout the eastern United States. She is represented by Cerulean Arts Gallery and lives in historic Laurel Spring, NJ.
