“Finding Your Framework: Composition & Color”

This workshop is designed for artists who want to strengthen their visual storytelling through composition and color. Whether your work leans toward realism or abstraction, composition is the framework that makes your art connect with viewers.
Over the course of this hands-on two-hour session, participants will:
- Explore strategies for building strong compositions.
- Practice quick thumbnails to simplify complex scenes.
- Develop a small study using a limited color palette.
- Learn practical tools to plan paintings with clarity, purpose, and visual impact.

About the Instructor
Kate Kern Mundie is a fine artist and educator celebrated for her luminous landscape and still life paintings in oil, watercolor, and gouache. She exhibits regularly across Pennsylvania, Maine, and Delaware, and teaches with a focus on clarity, foundations, and helping artists find their own voice.
