This workshop is designed for artists who want to ‘loosen up’ when creating cityscapes scenes by just giving an impression of detail in a piece, like adding the human form to a street scene.
Over the course of this hands-on two-hour session, the instructor will demonstrate his technique and participants will work individually on their own reference or work directly from imagination.
Supplies will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own watercolors and brushes.

• Non-Members: $10

About the Instructor: David Watson
David Watson is an award winning artist who considers himself a history painter, born a few centuries too late.
He says, “Being able to tell a story through my art is very important to me and I enjoy using my imagination to bring a character or event to life. I have been drawing for as long as I remember. Over the years I have tried many different mediums. I really enjoy the use of a felt pen and watercolor mixture, especially for my illustrative work. It is my hope that I can recreate past events in such a way that it takes the viewer to a particular moment in time such as the works of Wyeth, Schoonover and Pyle have done for me.”
All are welcome – Members and Non-Members alike!
Don’t miss this opportunity to loosen up and add vibrancy and interest to your work.
