WAA Summer Schedule – What’s On & What’s Paused

🎨 WAA Summer Break Information – July & August

Each year, the Willingboro Art Alliance takes a brief summer break during July and August to allow our volunteers, instructors, and members time to recharge, reflect, and create.

While some of our weekly open studios pause during the summer months, we continue to offer select programs and opportunities for those who wish to stay active and engaged in their creative journey.

☀️ What’s Typically Offered During Summer

Over the years, our summer offerings have included:

  • Continued Open Studios (Limited Schedule):

    • Monday | Life Open Studio (Online with Marcia)

    • Tuesday | Open Studio (In-person with Arleen)

    • Thursday | Online Open Studio (With Indira)
These sessions continue to run throughout the summer and are open to all members.

  • Virtual Workshops & Art Demos:
Pre-recorded and live presentations remain available through our website and YouTube channel.

  • Exhibition & Submission Opportunities:
Members receive information on summer shows, group exhibitions, and calls for art through our Sketchbook Newsletter and email list—such as the MFA Gallery’s “Name That Tune” showcase.

  • Community Engagement & Partner Events:
Through collaborations with other local art organizations, our members have access to pop-up exhibitions, plein-air sessions, and educational events across the region.

📆 Regular Programming Resumes in September

Our full lineup of:

  • Open Studios

  • Workshops

  • Art Coaching Sessions

  • In-person Presentations
resumes in early September with renewed energy and exciting new content.

We encourage members and visitors to check the website calendar regularly and subscribe to our newsletter for the latest updates and creative opportunities.
